Law Enforcement Officer | Peer Support Leader
Rex was hired by the New Canaan Police Department on Oct. 7, 2004. Before serving New Canaan, he served in the United States Marine Corps. He is currently assigned to our patrol division and serves as an Acting sergeant, dispatcher, and Field Training Officer. He is also in charge of their Bicycle Patrol Unit, Physical Fitness Program, and Child Safety Seat Installation Program. Lastly, he is the peer support coordinator/ EAP Liaison responsible for facilitating communication between officers in order for colleagues to receive the proper resources and services that they may need.
